Anthony proclaimed that women could change the world if they had the opportunity\, freedom\, and resources\, “Woman must have a purse of her own.” \nWe are delighted to welcome LORI VAN DUSEN\, CIMA\, as our keynote speaker. Van Dusen is the award-winning founder and CEO of LVW Advisors\, a nationally recognized investment advisory firm based in Rochester\, NY. Lori is also the author of Wall Street Journal best-selling book Running with Grace: A Wall Street Insider’s Path to True Leadership\, a Purposeful Life\, and Joy in the Face of Adversity\, published in 2023. She has been recognized locally and nationally for her business success and her philanthropy.

Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center | 123 East Main Street | Rochester\, New York Keynote Speaker: MiMi Aung We’re pleased to welcome MiMi Aung as the keynote speaker for the 2022 Susan B. Anthony Birthday Celebration. Aung is an engineer and former project manager at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Aung was the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Project Manager from the earliest stages of development in 2014 through the successful completion of flight tests on Mars. Recently\, Aung joined Amazon Project Kuiper\, an initiative to increase broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit. She is motivated by the opportunity to extend high-quality broadband to more places\, including unserved and underserved communities around the world. Aung has received numerous accolades\, including Time Magazine’s Time 100: The Most Influential People of 2021 and BBC’s 100 Women 2019. \n\nRegistration has now closed for the February 9th Susan B. DESCRIPTION:In a break with tradition\, the Anthony Museum has made plans to safely share Susan B. Anthony’s birthday celebration with their biggest audience ever through a televised broadcast. The “Gala” will be a 1/2 hour program on WROC-TV at 7pm on Wednesday\, February 10\, and will also be streamed on the internet. An inspiring program is planned that will be memorable and entertaining. As in other years\, it will also serve as the major fundraising event for the Anthony Museum.
