Each team is participating virtually will have their image or video clip shown. The broadcast will also have several encore presentations, to be determined.
Q. Why is the march called the Suffragist City Parade?
A. While celebrating the progress women have made in the 100 years since the 19th Amendment was passed, we also want to honor the many women and men who worked so hard to win the vote for women. This is why in the past we always have Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass lead the march followed by another suffragist, Inez Milholland, on her white horse.

A. A Social Justice March Celebrating Hope, Courage, and Change. Celebrate women who have changed the world—changemakers from before and changemakers to come!

A. 2020 is the 19th Amendment Centennial-—when women won the right to vote. 2020 is also Susan B. Anthony’s 200th birthday, the Anthony Museum’s 75th anniversary, and a big election year.
