
Iris Zimmermann is a distinguished former USA Olympian, fencing world champion, and inductee into the US Fencing Hall of Fame. Following her retirement from competitive fencing in 2008, Iris co-founded and managed the Rochester Fencing Club alongside her sister and fellow Olympian, Felicia Zimmermann. Under their leadership, the club flourished—doubling its membership and physical footprint while cultivating an inclusive, community-focused environment. Iris’s entrepreneurial achievements were recognized with a Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 award.
Currently, Iris serves in Deloitte’s U.S. Firm as part of the Performance Psychology Division within Integrated Mental Health Services, a group embedded in Recognition Rewards and Benefits. Before joining Deloitte, she was Vice President of Coaching and Coach Operations at Valor Performance, where she led a global team of professional performance and leadership coaches, delivering high-impact coaching solutions at scale.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Iris is passionate about mindset and human performance. She enjoys coaching CrossFit at Brickyard CrossFit and cherishes time spent with her family, especially her daughters, Emma and Anya.
