For Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
The Anthony Museum partners with Sign-Speak. Sign-Speak is an ASL translation software that allows real time communication between Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals with Hearing individuals. Deafness is a spectrum, and different people prefer different access tools. Sign-Speak’s platform includes multiple options: captioning, interpreters (VRI), and automatic agents for those last-minute interactions when an interpreter may not be available. We recommend you arrive about 10 minutes before your tour to complete the brief orientation.
For more information on these tours contact: programs@susanb.org or call 585.235.6124 during museum hours.
