Heidi Gregory serves as the managing partner of the Rochester office of Harris Beach Murtha, Attorneys at Law. An experienced litigator, she represents hospitals, health care providers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, residential treatment facilities, physician groups, home health agencies, licensed professionals, licensed human service agencies, day care centers and industry vendors in state court and before administrative panels and quasi-judicial tribunals. Heidi advises healthcare organizations and human service agencies on federal and state compliance matters, governmental audits and investigations, risk management, patient privacy laws and cybersecurity, medical staff credentialing, professional disciplinary matters, medical ethics, telemedicine, clinical trials and protection of human research subjects as well as day-to-day operational and contracting needs.
In addition to the above, Heidi serves as co-leader of the firm’s Cannabis Industry Team. She advises organizations of all types on developments within the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA), including cultivators and processors, retailers and distributors. She also advises medical marijuana registered organizations in day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance, and clients on the expanded guidance for home-grown medical use marijuana.
