Anthony Museum Welcomes New Board Members

Rochester, NY – The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House announced today that five new board members have been elected to serve on the Museum’s Board of Trustees. The new board members were installed as of June 1, 2015 to serve a three-year term. These board members are:

Juilee Decker – Professor, Rochester Institute of Technology
Kimberly Harding – Associate, Nixon Peabody LLP
Mary Moglia-Cannon – Investment Analyst and Relationship Manager
Cheryl Nelan – President and Owner, CMIT Solutions of Monroe
Catherine “Kit” Pollicove – Fundraising consultant

Four board members were elected for their second consecutive term of three years:

Lisa Clark – Senior Researcher, Rochester Institute of Technology
Sharon Salluzzo – Children’s Literature Consultant; Professional Storyteller
Bernie Todd Smith – Educational Ethics consultant
Kate Welc – Assurance Senior Manager, Mengel Metzger Barr and Co LLP

The following slate of officers was elected for 2015 – 2016:

Sharon Salluzzo – Chair
Lisa Clark – Vice Chair
Julie Ferreira – Secretary
Kate Welc – Treasurer

New Volunteer Open House on March 3

The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House will host an open house event for new volunteers on

Tuesday, March 3, 2015, from noon to 4 p.m.

Interested individuals are invited to tour the historic home of Susan B. Anthony, meet key staff members, and learn what exciting volunteer opportunities are available at the Museum.

In 2014, the Museum’s volunteer corps of over 120 contributed almost 9,000 hours of their time, providing docent-led tours, programs, retail operations, reception duties, and completing special projects.
