VOTERCADE 2020 EVENTS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2021. NEW DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT YEAR!
Votercade 2020 is a year-long celebration marking the 200th birthday of Susan B. Anthony and the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment.
Inspired by Susan B. Anthony’s commitment to take her suffrage message to audiences throughout the country, Votercade 2020 will carry a 21st century message about the power of the vote to selected historic and cultural sites in Rochester, NY and the Finger Lakes region.
Votercade 2020 is a series of single-day events and is planned for diverse, multi-generational audiences.
Through Votercade 2020, the National Susan B. National Anthony Museum & House reaches beyond Anthony’s home on Madison Street in Rochester, New York, to highlight the importance of voting rights and civic discourse and to celebrate the ways Susan B. Anthony’s work is still relevant today.
Join Votercade presenters and supporters as we travel to that day’s partner site, arriving in a highly-visible motorcade.
At each location, the Anthony Museum and site partners will collaborate for programming through
- dramatic presentations
- music
- art
Other organizations will be present with displays, booths, or interactive activities.
