Attention Anthony Museum members, volunteers, and family: it’s Homecoming! We will gather on September 24 to welcome home our newly restored historic sign, which was originally installed in 1948 by Susan B. Anthony II, the great-niece and namesake of Susan B. Then, join us for a walk to the future home of our Campus Expansion project. You will have a chance to be a part of the past and the future by recreating a historic photo from 1948 with us and visiting the site that will tell Susan B. Anthony’s story to more people than ever before!
The evening will include a thank-you to Mr. Matt Fink, who restored our sign (along with encouragement from his students); time for questions about the sign’s history and our Campus Expansion; and time to catch up with our friends in the Anthony Museum community.
4:30pm: remarks from Historian Jenny Lloyd
4:45pm: unveiling ceremony at 17 Madison Street
5:00pm: walk to our new property on Brown and Jefferson Ave
Please RSVP by September 18 to RSVP@susanb.org or call 585.279.7490
